FEES:

30 minute weekly class = $60/month, $18/ individual class
45-minute weekly class = $62/month, $20/ individual class
1 hour weekly class = $65/month, $20/ individual class
1 hr and 15 min weekly class= $68/month, $20/ individual class

1 hr and 30 min weekly class= $70/month, $20/ individual class

REGISTRATION:

$30 ($60/family max) due with 1st payment each year, nonrefundable

Fees are not based on the number of classes per calendar month but are based on annual costs, payable monthly for your convenience. Like a gym or health club, we require fees to be paid every month, September - May. If you choose to take a month off, you will be asked to pay the registration fee again.

DISCOUNTS:

*2 classes/week = 5%

*3 classes/week = 10%

*4 classes/week = 15%

*5 classes/week = 20%

Families add classes and apply the discount.

OTHER:

*Late fee (after 7th of the month) = $15

*Recital Fee = $30 (Recital Tickets will be available separately)

Students may not participate in the recital until tuition is paid. Recital Date: Saturday, May 29, 2027.

*Private class = $65/hr prepaid, 24-hour cancellation notice. Email dance@ashevilleballet.com to request private instruction.

Three snow days per class are figured into costs. After that, we will schedule make-up classes.

Missed classes may be made up in other disciplines, or by observing advanced classes.

PLEASE NOTE:

Classes are subject to change depending upon enrollment. 

 

Grades and ages serve as a starting point for class placement; instructors may choose to move students to a class they deem more appropriate. All students ages 11+ will personally be advised of their best placement. 

​

Please bring your own water bottle; water fountain is not in use, but gallons of water are available for refills.

Please do not attend class if you have cold symptoms or are positive for COVID. If someone in your household is positive for COVID, please wear a mask in class. If you are recovering from illness, please wear a mask until your symptoms are gone. Dancers may be asked to wear a mask if they are coughing or exhibiting cold symptoms.
 

DRESS:

Needed for recital: Women - black leotard, black wrap skirt, pink tights, and pink slippers.

Men - white t-shirt, black tights, black slippers.

Non-binary and gender fluid dancers - wear what makes you most comfortable.
Otherwise no color-coding by level. Just look like a dancer! 
Please wear long hair pulled back in a bun or similar style.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

​

Asheville Ballet follows the Asheville City Schools (ACS) schedule for weather-related closures with the guidelines below:

• If Asheville City Schools are closed or announce a remote learning day due to weather, all morning classes will be canceled.

• If Asheville City Schools announce an early release due to weather, all afternoon and evening classes will be canceled.

• For all other closures or changes, we will notify families via our website and social media channels.

 

To help cut down on mass emails every time a class is postponed or canceled, we will primarily share weather-related updates on our website and social media. We encourage families to check those platforms on days with questionable weather:

Families who wish to monitor Asheville City Schools updates directly may use the ACS Inclement Weather Hotline (828-350-6188), visit the ACS Facebook page, or check the WLOS school closings listing.
