Anthony Gongora received a BFA in dance from the California Institute of the Arts, and did graduate work in dance at Illinois University. In 1990 he was invited to dance with the Chicago Repertory Dance Ensemble. Gongora was a recipient of two Illinois Arts Council Fellowships for Choreography. He has taught in University dance departments and as guest instructor for professional training programs. Is choreography has been preformed throughout the U.S. and Europe.
